Daniel Brandt

Daniel Brandt, founder of electroacoustic ensemble Brandt Brauer Frick, is a composer, drummer, and filmmaker. As a solo artist and together with Brandt Brauer Frick he has released eight studio albums to date and has composed music for opera, ballet, and film including collaborations with artists like Mykki Blanco, Marina Herlop and Om'Mas Keith. He has performed at renowned venues and festivals worldwide, including Glastonbury, Lincoln Center, Barbican and Berghain. Daniel has directed award winning work, including his short film "Eternal Something", the interview series "STRRR" as well as the music video for "Bop" by Brandt Brauer Frick. In 2022, his audiovisual installation "Multi Faith Prayer Room" debuted at Miami Art Week. He is currently engaged in an immersive environmental film and music project titled "Without Us."
